The announcement of CNCA on defining the compulsory product certification requirements for products with lighting function of electric clothes racks is as follows:
First, CCC certification catalogue clearly includes "lighting appliances" products. For products with lighting function of electric clothes racks, if the structure of the lighting part conforms to the description of "lamps" in the Description and Definition Table of Compulsory Product Certification Catalogue, the product or its lighting part (which can work independently) shall meet the requirements of CCC certification implementation rules for lighting appliances and obtain CCC certification certificate for lighting appliances.
Second, considering that the products with lighting function of the above-mentioned electric clothes racks are new forms of drying products, and the understanding of CCC certification requirements of the products is still unclear, local market supervision departments and designated certification bodies and laboratories should strengthen publicity in the law enforcement and certification testing of the above-mentioned products, and urge unlicensed enterprises to apply for certification as soon as possible; Relevant production enterprises should pay close attention to CCC certification and obtain certification before December 31, 2024. From January 1, 2025, if the above-mentioned products fail to obtain CCC certification as required, they shall not leave the factory, sell, import or be used in other business activities.
